Projects

What is possible, in homes like yours.

What follows are typical scenarios, not specific clients. We built them around the kind of homes and spaces NIX Online works on, with an indicative scope and timeline. Real photos of completed projects will be added here as we deliver them.

Tour: a NIX villa from dusk to morning (3D rendering)

Typical scenarios

Six homes, six different needs.

Each scenario shows a common problem, what we would install and how long the work would take. The final solution for your home is always set after the survey.

Typical scenario

95 m² apartment in Pangrati

Essentials · wireless · no chasing walls

The problem
A couple who spend long days out. Air conditioners left running, lights forgotten on, and no idea what is happening at home while they are away.
What we install
  • NIX Hub and app
  • Smart relays behind the existing switches
  • Control of 3 air conditioners
  • Door and leak sensors
Timeline
1 day of installation, handover the same afternoon.
What changes day to day
One tap on “Leaving” turns everything off. The air conditioning comes on shortly before they get home, and a notification arrives if the balcony door is left open.
Typical scenario

Family house in Vari

Comfort · two floors with a garden

The problem
A family with two children. Rooms that heat unevenly, shutters raised and lowered by hand, and worry about security when the house sits empty over the summer.
What we install
  • Lighting in every room
  • Zoned climate control
  • Motorised shutters on a sun schedule
  • Alarm and 4 cameras
  • Mesh Wi-Fi out to the garden
Timeline
Usually 3 days, one floor at a time, so the family can keep living there.
What changes day to day
Shutters lower on their own in the hottest hours, each child sets their own room, and the alarm arms when the last person leaves. A modest, indicative drop in air-conditioning use is a reasonable expectation, not a promise.
Typical scenario

Villa in Santorini

Signature · Starlink · remote management

The problem
The owners live abroad and visit a few months a year. The island connection is not always reliable, and every small issue means phone calls to third parties.
What we install
  • Starlink as primary or backup connection
  • Cameras recording inside the villa
  • Pool and irrigation control
  • Humidity and leak sensors
  • Secure remote access for our team
Timeline
Design done remotely, then 4 to 5 days on the island, outside peak season where possible.
What changes day to day
The owners can see from their phone that all is well. Before they arrive, the house is cooled and the pool is ready. If something needs attention, we see it too.
Typical scenario

Airbnb in Koukaki

Essentials · keyless check-in

The problem
A short-term rental flat. Late-night key handovers, air conditioners running with the doors open, and no way of knowing whether the flat is empty.
What we install
  • Smart lock with a code per booking
  • AC control linked to window sensors
  • Noise and leak sensors
  • Video doorbell at the entrance
Timeline
1 day, between two bookings.
What changes day to day
Every guest gets their own code, which expires at check-out. The AC switches off when the balcony door opens, and the host knows when guests arrived and left.
Typical scenario

New build in Kifisia

Signature · KNX · home cinema

The problem
A house still on paper. The owners want infrastructure that will last decades, without dozens of switches on the walls and without being tied to one manufacturer.
What we install
  • Wired KNX infrastructure
  • Lighting, underfloor heating and shutters
  • Cinema room with surround sound
  • Whole-home audio
  • Solar link and EV charging
Timeline
Design alongside the architect, then work in phases in step with construction.
What changes day to day
A few clean keypads in each room. One press of “Movie” dims the lights and lowers the shutters. The house can grow later without opening walls again.
Typical scenario

Six-person office in the city centre

Custom business plan

The problem
A small office in an older building. Wi-Fi that drops, air conditioning left on over the weekend, and keys still held by former colleagues.
What we install
  • Business-grade Wi-Fi and network
  • Lighting and AC on a schedule
  • Lock with personal codes
  • Alarm and entrance camera
Timeline
1 to 2 days, usually outside office hours.
What changes day to day
The office “closes” itself at the end of the day. When someone leaves the team, their code is removed in a minute, with no lock change.

The process

What your project will look like.

The scenarios are a starting point. Your project starts from your home and how you live in it, with a fixed price before any work begins.

Home survey

We check the wiring, Wi-Fi coverage and the consumer unit, and ask how you actually live in the space.

Free · about 1 hour

Design & quote

A room-by-room plan with devices, scenes and a fixed price. A wireless upgrade, or a wired solution for renovations.

Within a week

Installation

A tidy install by our own technicians, hub setup and a test of every automation in your home.

Usually 1–5 days

Handover & care

We show everyone in the house how it works, then look after updates and remote support so it keeps working properly.
